Beth Thomas, ESQ, Experienced Legal Advocate
At The Law Office of Beth C. Thomas, PLLC, I provide dedicated legal representation in family law, criminal defense, LGBTQ+ matters, landlord representation, and business Law in the New York Capital Region. I focus on providing one-on-one attention to my clients, achieving client-driven outcomes, and solving my client's problem instead of giving cookie-cutter-type legal service.
I joined the Rensselaer Conflict Defender’s Conflict Defender’s Office in 2024. In my role as a conflict defender, I am a court-appointed family lawyer and criminal defender working on cases in which the Public Defender’s Office has a conflict of interest.
After qualifying as a lawyer in New York in 2020, I established The Law Office of Beth C. Thomas, PLLC in Troy, NY, in 2021 to offer personalized legal services.
I began my legal career working on consumer debt cases with the New York Legal Assistance Group (NYLAG) and the Queens Volunteer Lawyers Project, helping clients navigate financial challenges.
I clerked for Judge Elgin Edwards, District Recorder of Chester, gaining valuable courtroom and legal research experience
